Coffee promotion
La Fuente del Café is the company in charge of placing our coffee in different countries and in the most sophisticated coffee consumption markets in the world. It has an excellent team that is responsible for transmitting our passion for what we do every day in order to achieve the best business conditions. They participate in the most important coffee fairs in the world, mainly those organized by the SCA, as well as international events held in our country such as Sintercafé. These places have become the propitious space to share our experience.
Carbon and water footprint measurement
The discipline for the collection of documents is always present in our integrated management system. This means that we have cost and measurement centers in each of the production processes of the value chain, which helps us in making decisions.
Energy efficiency
We are a company subjected to a program of continuous improvement and the efforts to optimize each of the resources on which our production depends are evident. Finca La Hilda has dedicated 27% of its area to the conservation of primary forest and river boundaries. We also have a robust energy efficiency program, with which we have managed to reduce the consumption of raw materials and fossil fuel by 25%. Within our farms we executed a strategic program of reforestation with native species, which has allowed us to establish biological corridors that reinforce our investment in conservation and protection of local forests.
