Coffee promotion
Our cooperative participates in the main international fairs such as SCAA, SCAE, SCAJ, Sintercafe. We participated in NAMA Cafés commercial and marketing workshop, as well as the business tour to Germany in 2017. We also receive visits from our clients and offer them an internship at our organization, in order to show them the economic and social impact our cooperative has on its associates, which 90% are small producers.
Carbon and water footprint measurement
The 2017-2018 period has been our third measurement of the Carbon Footprint, which has allowed us to identify our main emission sources and develop investments focused on reducing said emissions.
Energy efficiency
We have focused on investing in changing to more efficient motors in the electrical consumption, improvement in the mechanical drying to reduce biomass and electricity consumption, we have installed African beds for solar drying, and improved electrical systems.
Involving producers
Leading producers of our organization have participated in the NAMA Café workshops. Our leading technicians make recommendations directed to good agricultural practices in the productive unit seeking the best use in the inputs applied.
